A: Fragrance Diffusers are an alternative to other home / office room fragrancer's. They are very convenient and safe to use as they do not require a candle, as with fragrance burners.
A: Pour Diffuser oil into a glass container (small vase with narrow neck). Place the diffuser reeds into the container. Leave the reeds to absorb the oil for a couple of hours and then turn them over. The fragrance will be released into the surrounding environment. For best results, turn reeds over occasionally to refresh the scent.
A: The amount is optional – the more used the more scent is diffused. In terms of size / length, the reeds should stick out of the bottle at least as much as the height of the bottle.
A: Once the sticks are totally saturated, the cells in the reeds get somewhat clogged and lose their ability to pull the scent up into the reeds. Therefore, you also cannot move the reeds to a different scent of oil because the cells will be clogged with the previous scent.
A: This will depend on the size of bottle and amount of oil used, but will also depend on environmental factors, such as whether it is an open or closed room, air conditioning, etc.
A: If you have flipped your reeds so that the moist reed ends are sticking up and this does not help, perhaps you are trying to scent too large an area. You may need more than one fragrance diffuser, placed in opposite corners of the room, for optimum results. Also, if the room as an active air conditioner, or frequent door opening, it may affect the results.
