There are a number of ways to fragrance your space, the best method is likely to depend on the size and type of room, and the effect you wish to achieve.

1.  Fragrance Burners

Used together with scented rocks or fragrance oils, this produces a good, strong fragrance which lasts for several hours.  Simply fill your burner with scented rocks or water and fragrance oil, light a tealight candle underneath and the aroma will start to fragrance the air.

2.  Fragrance Diffusers

This is a clean and simple way to fragrance a room.  Reed sticks are inserted into a container of fragrant oil.  The oil is released into the air through the sticks.  This method produces a very subtle fragrance.

3.  Fragrance Pendant (Fragrance Flower)

An ideal way to fragrance cupboards and can also be used in your car.  Fragrance oil soaks into the pendant and releases fragrance into the air.

4.  Candles

This combines the appeal of candlelight and fragrance.  Although not as strong as using a fragrance burner, it does give a nice soft fragrance.

5.  Sprays

This is a good choice for areas where you require an instant burst of fragrance.  It is a short lived fragrance, but can be used as often as required.

6.  Incense

This is the burning of sticks which then releases the fragrance.  Gives a quick effect.

7.  Pot Pourri

This is a traditional method, using bowls of dried flowers, fruits and leaves.  Add a few drops of fragrance oils to create the fragrance required.  This is generally long lasting and visually appealing.  This method does however produce a very mild scent and is limiting to a single fragrance.
